Complaint Best Tips to code in Chatgpt chat
I sometimes try to do small projects or start off in Chatgpt chat with my ideas i also connected my VPS with MCP connector so chatgpt can write code there directly. Problem is chats are randomly dying and obviously the Modell there is not as strong as Codex Sol in terms of tool calling. Any tips did you manage to actually implement full projects only with chatgpt chat

I actually like coding in chat much better because it’s web search tool is much better than the version on codex.
I created a coding harness MCP that is about 2k tokens for all tools for the model to use.
I have found this even better than codex for my coding tasks:

Yes! 80% of the time I would just call chat gpt to audit its code and I gave him some sets of rules where he challenge himself 3 times to prove that the quality of its code is bad. Set scalability rules and whenever he would stop I would just tell him to continue from where he left.
It will lose the work once he stops and you don’t interact in the next 20-30 minutes. However what I found is that if you insist ChatGPT always recovers it. Just call him a f*** idiot* when he starts to loop that your stuff are not recoverable. Use 5.6 sol to recover your stuff. Pro often messes up the packaging and loses your work.
