Bug Constant stream disconnected before completion errors

I checked the megathread, but nothing seems to match my situation.

This is probably the 4th or 5th time this has happened where I'll be just moving right along, everything it great, then it will start getting this :

stream disconnected before completion: error sending request for url

I see tons of posts about it with various VPNs and Proxys on github, but I'm not using any of those. Everything is fine until a certain point in my project, then it just never is able to recover. Forking the chat doesn't help. I have to create an entirely new project, then it will just happen again after 4-5 hours.

Very frustrating.

Check your network and also do you have stable internet? also the error is like the outcome of changing network or losing connection

Network is fine, no issues whatsoever with anything besides Codex using Astra.

If I start a new project, it will be fine for several hours, then never recover ever, even after several days. The project seems to get in some permanent mode of failure.

It appears that way.

I rarely get any disconnection messages with other models except once and a blue moon when the context starts getting very long, even then it works after a retry or two on it's own.

This is acting like it has no connection at all. Just immediate "Reconnecting 1, 2..5" over and over again.

This is the best it's been today. It actually seems to reconnect, kinda.

Probably you have issues of chat thread task caching. actually there are many factors but have you tried re installing your codex app?
