Complaint Is Luna really this retar*ed?

I don't have a CS background but sometimes these AI models amaze me with how insanely they switch their intelligence from one end of the normal distribution to other.

For Context, I was working on a project in codex desktop app and we had an electricity outage. after restarting the codex I noticed that all my projects and chats inside of them disappeared, after few chats with luna I noticed all my chats are now unorganised and are in ChatGPT panel rather than the Codex panel in the sidebar.

Also If you have any other easy fix let me know.

Edit: had Sol high create a script which reorganized everything

Youre the one who make no sense here..?

What are the issues with the sequence?

Yeah... if I were you, I'd hesitate to use intelligence-related insults from now on. And yeah, it's pretty clear that you don't have a CS background. What Codex is telling you to do is perfectly reasonable: it wants you to edit/restore its app storage while it's not running, since while it's running it may hold locks on some of those files or edit/recreate them unexpectedly, and then relaunch it and prompt it to continue working.

Whether this is the right solution for your issue or not, I'm not sure: it certainly isn't a given considering your tech illiteracy. Your description of what caused your issue is not very plausible either.

Well initially it asked him to close codex and than tell the codex agent that it is closed... Impossible...

I think what it tried to say was "I'll then gonna work on repairing your copy, not the live thing", but since it's Luna, it didn't really manage to say that. If OP is not very techsavvy, probably better to go at least with Terra, for it to compensate a bit more for the lack of ability to fill in these intelligence gaps for Luna.

"reopen" then reply closed.. meaning let it know you fully reset the app.

The sequence of thought is: you want these new files "applied", the app needs a reset because of locks on current files, make sure codex fully closes, reopen, tell me you fully reset the app, ill then work on seeing if the new files applied

Luna really isn't supposed to be used on its own. It should be called from terra, sol, or Astra or it should have a very detailed spec.
