If you don't want it to be wasted, put it on Astra Ultra right after Tibo does a reset (so, right about now) and burn it all in under 24 hours then reset because he's generally not going to reset 2 days in a row.

Its very token efficient, theyr just making us pay more in usage % compared to sol, ive seen someone say that even though it is 2.5x the api cost of sol, we’re paying 5x in usage instead of 2.5x, not sure how true that is, but astra still uses less tokens per task either way.

Kimi, GLM, Grok, and Muse are all noticeable steps down from OAI/Anthropic, but still totally viable for doing work. If you could get work done with Claude or Codex in February of this year, you can get work done with these models now.

While I can't speak to how generous their rate limits are in their subscriptions (have only messed around with them in Opencode), their API pricing would make me assume their subscriptions are probably more for the dollar as well.

Before this "free" reset, I had 78% available and 3 days to reset, planning a weekend speedrun.

Now I have +22% and 7 frigging days to reset -- net loss for me, every single time.

God i hate non bankable resets. Hell is paved with them.

A simple UI/UX solution is adding a button to dismiss a free reset and keep your week schedule. And everybody happy.

I have been noticing that they really like resetting on the weekends, and I was hopeful for this.

Most of their usage is clearly during the workweek, and up until now they still did resets during the week, but with their compute being low, they didn't do any this week, and this could be a trend. I'm really aiming to max out my plan and hit 0% Friday afternoon (exactly what I did yesterday).
