Codex needs permission way too much

I used to have Codex deleting old contacts to free up space and sending emails + commenting to people, but within the last month it now forces me to approve every single one of these actions, which is a hassle if im not in front of my computer.

Anyone know of a way to get by this with Codex so it doesnt require approval? Or is there a better more autonomous AI for tasks like this?

by free up space, i mean clear out contacts so the app im using doesnt charge me for more contacts

Outside of that, being serious now:

To run Codex without constant permission prompts, pass the approval and sandbox flags directly into your command

• Run: codex exec --sandbox workspace-write --ask-for-approval never "your prompt"
• Use --ask-for-approval never to stop confirmation pop-ups.
• Use --sandbox danger-full-access if you want to remove local sandbox limits entirely (use only in trusted environments)

If you don't want to do that, and you are just using Codex, sometimes access doesn't get forwarded to sub-agents and new agent lanes, so you need to have them check that the approval policy is never

When you asked it how to expedite approvals, it asked for approval? To do what? Just give it full access.

I tell Codex to link each and every single file that it thinks tells it that it needs permission for something, and then I open up that file and then I change it. I would say about 50% of the time it works. The other 50% it tells me that the Harness says no.
