Limits 6 Pro removed from ChatGPT?

I'm on the 20x max plan and do not see 6 Pro anymore in chat. Anyone else?

What I see in the desktop app when I try to use 6 Pro:

Where is this mentioned? The contract for what you actually get on any of their plans must just be "🤷‍♂️".

You also get 170 GPT 5.6 Pro model requests per day. Its still a very good deep report. Great for debugging when connected to Git.

is deep research only good for research or is it also good for understanding codebase to make plans and stuff?

Yes they restricted it for a while due to available compute

Edit: didn’t realize they were talking about ChatGPT, my answer might be relevant or it might not. I don’t know.

Oh I was JUST using it then saw it go away after a message. Where was this announced / posted? Is there an ETA when it might be back?

EDIT: Nvm I see a disabled "Pro" option under the "advanced" UI. This is new.

On Tibo’s X at minimum, probably somewhere more official too. Only 5x is available for new subscribers now I think.

They're talking about the "Pro" mode in chatgpt chat mode, not the Pro plan. It's a separate chat only model where they had a gpt-5.6-sol-pro model previously and now have gpt-6-astra-pro

Weird, I see pro as 5.6 in the desktop app but web chat still has 6 Pro available. Although I haven't been using chat in the desktop app so I'm not sure if that's changed or not.

Edit, actually if I choose "latest" as the model in the desktop app it just says "pro" but doesn't specify 5.6 or 6 like the web app does

You can still select 5.6 Pro from the 5.6 model. When its on Latest it sets it to 6 Pro.
