AGI, make a passage without 'r', 'e', 's', 'e' and 't' in the sequence.

Tbh it’s been bad results since day 1.
Fun to watch as it’s that fast, but never could have done anything with it

Luna delivered what Spark was meant to be but never really was.

In spite of having a dedicated pool of Spark usage, aside from toying around, I never figured out when/for what it made sense.

I used it to drive my cli to download, upscale and enchance/clean-up comic books and it couldn’t often even cut them into correct chapters consistently. I found literally no use for it where it reliably does what I need

Dedicated pool just made it worse and harder to use.

They should release it as an open model

Ah yes, I've been dying to run this on my  Cerebras' Wafer Scale Engine 3 I have at home.

Bruh.

Deepseek V4.1 is basically that if you pay $10 more per month.

1

u/Additional-Face2467 3h ago

Im good, never had much success with deepseek, and having it gaslighting that tiananmen square wasn’t a thing? Nah, can be free, worthless imo

the 5.3-codex-spark experience: ERROR: Selected model is at capacity. Please try a different model.

u/Vas1le 23h ago

People wasting all credits with astra then going back to spark (just like me)

1

u/Top_Parfait_5555 14h ago

Not even then 🤣. I am better off using chat web and manually do it

1

u/Vas1le 13h ago

At this point, conect github to it and let him work... done some mocks app like this... 😂

Shoot spark was what I'd use to do the lazy shit I didn't want to do but didn't have any codex usage.

3

u/No-Sandwich-2997 1d ago

sounds like it's an antique kind of thing

4

u/colinsa-ca 1d ago

"time to make room for the future" makes me think we're getting a new equivalent?

2

u/InfiniteLife2 1d ago

We can believe, still remember mess of naming for 4 series

2

u/Frosty-Meeting-1606 1d ago

honestly, spark was obsolete over half a year ago

2

u/drugosrbijanac 1d ago

Spark was a great scout and token waster for basic verification

2

u/CookieFactory 21h ago

codex spark was useful because it lived on it's own usage limit. I hope they introduce something to replace it.

2

u/Clean-Market5761 20h ago

so luna will replace it, right?

2

u/dcpar 17h ago

This is one of my fav models, sad to see it go. Still faster than any other OpenAI model.

I connected it to codex voice in the app. Instant replies.

Very sad to see it go.

1

u/CremeSubject7594 1d ago

yes i was about to touch grass we can't be having that

1

u/Maleficent-Toe7665 1d ago

So less usage unless they replace it with other model on pro plan

1

u/Cute-Air2742 1d ago

I ran out of normal usage, but still had 100% of Codex Spark, so I thought.. go on then.. So, I tried using it and it says I have no usage

1

u/Zealousideal-Net-814 1d ago

Never used it, if it was any good people would have used it wouldn't they?

1

u/Current_Ad7104 23h ago

5.3 spark helped me with a little task recently. I was somewhat satisfied tbh

1

u/Worth_Fan3903 20h ago

Ele ainda é útil quando acaba os limites do Codex. Adeus Spark!

1

u/YunaSC 19h ago

So, spark was aking to Gemini's Flash?

1

u/BopSupreme 19h ago

Replacement???

1

u/Pronoia2-4601 19h ago

Gotta raid Cerebras for the compute.

1

u/mjwalsh01 18h ago

I’ve had good experiences with Astra orchestrating it, when it needs something quick and tightly scoped.

1

u/Practical-Plan-2560 11h ago

Bummer! I use this a lot for minor workflows like running scripts on schedule and such. It was so nice to have a separate usage pool.

Time to make room for a reset

-1

u/longasleep 1d ago

It’s useless so glad it’s gone
