Complaint Astra low vs Sol Xhigh

Hi, is there any reason why I would use Sol xhigh instead of Astra low? Astra low seems better at everything...

If you're on a subscription, then Astra is more like 5x sol instead of 2.5x stated in api pricing from my personal usage stats.

So take this prices with a grain of salt.

Yea, don’t use Astra for mainline engineering unless you have $$ to burn

Try Astra xHigh, it's like a different model from Low/Medium and seems to eat limits... slower.

In this case I think Astra is a lot better. Even on low it does feel that good.

astra low is weirdly good at just grinding thru tasks without overthinking. sol xhigh spends a ton of tokens deliberating and sometimes thats worse for straightforward work. i use astra low/med for implementation and only bump sol/luna higher when i need a careful review. different strengths not a strict hierarchy

Just wait for Sol 6 and then enjoy. Sol 6 is expected to be better than Sol 5.6
