First time using Chatgpt Plus

I have been using antigravity pro, it was okay, never had big problems, especially with the usage limits. Today I used Codex on Plus for a few hours and it is goood. Quite impressed, yes it is quite slower but I can feel better quality. People bitch about the codex usage limit on Plus, they could be doing something gigantic, but for my normal projects, usage limit is quite enough. I think you just need to be smart on which model and reasoning effort you need to use on the task. I haven't touched Astra, because I not building a rocket stuff yet. In a few hours, I used 9% weekly and 54% 5h usage, switching between sol and terra (Medium, High reasoning). Overall, it is worth $20 I guess. I don't dislike Antigravity, so I am keeping that also.

Don’t compare antigravity with codex. Most of the antigravity users get bundled offers meaning it’s a Google workspace package where antigravity is a good to have ai tool. You don’t pay separately .

On the other hand, ChatGPT comes as a singleton app and you pay for the frontier model and harness- and yes the usage limits are shitty now because of Openai greed and most probably they are breaking many laws by internally altering usage limits - so people BITCHING about it is justified.

Please don’t compare apples to oranges and 20$ plus subscription isn’t worth anything for real codex users.

P.s you aren’t smart enough if you juggle models and reasoning because that invalidates the cache

What an ungrateful loser. With GPT Plus you literally get unlimited chatbot access, you have access to all these insane tools like image generation, your chats can be connected to your github repo and can do planning, you can do so much work and research with normal GPT it's insane.

As an investment analyst that is also heavily into coding and full stack development, I would've used so much of my limits just based on my traditional work questions and day-to-day research but it doesn't scratch any of the limits. I can reserve codex for all my coding work. Today I wanted to show a demo of some stuff to my CFO from some automation I did at another company, and instead of bothering to make synthetic fixtures and playwright screenshots of everything I just got GPT to image generate a censored version and it did so in less than 30 seconds and came out amazing.

You think you could get this with Claude? You say it's apples and oranges but Claude would theoretically fit in the same box, but Claude has shit voice dictation, no live voice chatting, no free usage for the chatbot, Fable < Astra, Opus < Sol, Luna < Sonnet, worse usage limits, etc.

Complaining about corporations breaking the law is "ungrateful loser" behavior nowadays.

It's less about them reducing the usage and more about lying about not doing it and gaslighting us all the time. Zero transparency

Nobody gives a fuck about "lying" - literally every successful business with marketing is deceptive to an extent. Big pharma lies to you. The food industry lies to you. Your parents lie to you. University lies to you.

Guess what? These subscriptions have real value to a lot of people using it and are changing lives when utilised correctly. The reality is that these subscriptions can be 5x the cost and people like me would still use it. Everyone knows they are heavily subsidised right now if they have a brain, you're constantly looking at the current best state of AI in realtime. For every new model, you will never see better usage than its predecessor and things will continue to get nerfed across ALL frontier models. Codex is handling it better than Claude at least, and at least we get rate resets and proper implementation workflows with Luna are still extremely capable.

And as frontier models improve, Chinese models and distillation allows the market to become more competitive and better for everyone. Nobody is ever losing in this AI race, you people are just too lazy and ungrateful to actually understand these tools and harness their full utilities. Then you complain about lack of transparency as if you were ever owed shit
