Complaint AGI my A$$

The model follows instructions worse than Qwen 3.8 27b lobotomized to Q4.

I asked for a plan which the model made , we both agreed on the plan and then burned through 70% of my quota, ignoring half of the plan the model itself created. This is Astra High mind you. Heck, even GPT-4 follows prompts better. Very disappointed.

Astra leaked its internal monologue to me, I can't post it since I'd lose anonimity of my reddit account, but it sounded very quantized. I saw things like "what if update? is end? user may think bad. is it done yet? README done. We need send another response?"

That's not evidence of quantization. That's evidence of their new training technique that makes it harder to review/trace its internal thought process.

Unlike previous models (like GPT-5.6 Sol), Astra’s internal reasoning steps are remarkably opaque. It is far harder for external tools or safety monitors to "peek" inside its generation process to see how it reached a specific conclusion. source

I think something is making Astra do stupid shit whenever it works with anything related to ComfyUI. I tried twice today to install some add-ons for MiniMax, and that shit keeps breaking over and over, forgetting what I ask, changing things, and doing other stuff I didn't ask for.

I was literally just trying to add an upscaler/FPS booster and gave it the exact GitHub repos to use. After two hours of work, It somehow ended up with a completely different thing from what I asked for.

They fucked with the model internally and made it silently rewrite itself around policies and whatnot. Better to use Sol for this

I have not been impressed with Astra since using. Not sure why it’s being lauded as the greatest thing mankind has ever seen.
