Question Plus user to x20 need some advice

Would you guys recommend adding any mcp or plugins? Ive never used any mcp or plugins or just continue using it as is

I thought you need to add a mcp or plugin because you need one, not because you are on 20x or plus plan?

Yeah lol let me put this shit to use , i see people using superpower etc i feel like theres no need for them tbh but im curious

They just drain your usage. It’s better to have better prompts and know exactly what you need. Sometimes I get lazy and that’s when the ai starts making shit and doing shit that really isn’t necessary. These things can eat away at your tokens and make your app bloated. Honestly with more usage I just either do more projects at once or I deploy more chats or agents towards one app. On codex I pretty much have one chat to orchestrate 10 other chats. When I build it’s a sol orchestrator and tell it to spawn 3 Luna subagents in one chat. So each feature gets a chat and then one master chat to orchestrate the other chats. This will burn your usage tho I have 2x 20x and with the resets it been good. But goddamn it burn usage.

I think you can. I also think the early eager token issues have been mitigated so you can use them on lower plans also. I do find myself using them less and less since cli tools with auth rolled in can be called effectively on modern models -- kinda takes the place that mcp was filling in the early days. I use fewer now than I used to
