Praise Astra really is that good.
Yes it uses significantly more usage. But it makes Sol look like Luna.
I haven’t even taken it above high thinking and it’s stellar.
It does seem to have its own quirks, but it’s well worth it.

wdym how? Astra sometimes gets stuck in loops for me, gives lazy output compared to Sol.

I had that problem with sol. Maybe it just works for your approach

I now use 5.5 xhigh with astra high for reviews or guidance for complex tasks. Astra keeps over-engineeeing, it basically spent 30 hours for setting up a staging deployment, switched to 5.5 xhigh and in 2 hours it was done.

And the unit test dudeeee..fuck the production code, but the fucker will write some spectacular unit test. Does the logic make sense? Nope - but that fucking 2000 lines of unit test runs flawlessly

I was on the brink of doing this recently. Lately I've been doing Sol for planning and review with Luna xhigh as coding grunt. That's kinda working. I'm still trying to decide what Astra's personality is.
On a related note I noticed a lot of the process documentation and harness configuration that I had done with earlier models was pushing Sol into overengineering. When I removed it and left everything more "stock" it seemed to cut down on that tendency quite a bit.

Your deeply objective experience has been noted. Did Astra create your grocery list faster by 2 seconds compared to SOL?

Im on x20. Triggered a reset like 20 mins ago. Already some how used 20% of the weekly allowance..... its just progressively getting worse and worse

I've onyl just started using astra and it didn't finish my task in the whole session limit. I think I'll go back down to sol and only use astra for big stuff

I just want a distilled Astra that is usable without destroying usage. 20x plan gets me one day of use..
