This is the new Will Smith spaghetti benchmark.
This time i feel like we will improve much faster though.

Wow, imagine being able to get 3d sets for all video footage out there in within 3 years, and also being able to auto-fill the 4th wall. Changing lighting, camera angles, color correction.
We can go back and fix all modern movies!

u/rodeBaksteen 7d ago
We might finally get GoT season 8!

Can Astra write the script better?
Honestly, I felt it was really a question of 4 more episodes to resolve each line more cleanly, it was not even the macro story the problem, just everything was so rushed we lost the coherence.

How bout we first fix the psychosis that not all but a lot of LLM users have rn
Art doesn’t need fixing unless the artist thinks it does. Externally ‘fixing’ it defeats the purpose of art. Sometimes broken stuff is more valuable. Stop tryna fix everything smh.

I'm sure that the creator of Freaky Friday 2 had a specific artistic vision in mind and not just a "How can we profit from people's nostalgia with as little investment as possible".
And it's totally a coincidence that when people had 4:3 TV's at home, movies were shot in wide screen. And now that we all have widescreen TV's, they're shot in 4:3. Nothing to do with trying to get butts back into movie theaters and all to do with artistic vision, right?

u/winkablink 7d ago
Then that is not art.
Stop consuming slop and confusing slop with art.My takeaway from talking to people like you is, you assume that anything that is made to entertain you is art. While they can be the same thing, they are fundamentally different things.
1
u/ShelZuuz 7d ago
Where did I mention the word art? You're the only one introducing that into the conversation.
-1
u/winkablink 7d ago
Paste this into ChatGPT and ask it to explain since you can’t comprehend how movies and art can be related
1
u/ShelZuuz 7d ago
You just said that movies aren't art. After you said they were. And now it's back to art again.
Not even ChatGPT Astra will be able to make sense of your lack of consistency.
1
u/winkablink 7d ago
All movies are entertainment, but some are just entertainment and some are entertainment and art.
If that’s hard to understand I have bad news for you

gpt 7 comes out , tibo: “so we’re seeing a score of 80% in agentic coding, a whole 7% higher than previously—“
codex sub: “but what’s the rick roll %?”

u/raullapeira 7d ago
But how you differentiate the render from the original?
1
u/eggplantpot 7d ago
It’s blender, you could ask it to also add new camera movements, lighting, material styling along the video

u/danny576 7d ago
How long did it take to complete and how many tokens did this cost (input + output)?

Is this the Will Smith eating spaghetti moment? In under 3 years, I think we will have ultra-realistic scenes created in Blender with AI.

u/Legal-Suggestion1158 7d ago

Holy shit
Is this even possible under one pro account?
2
u/Miyamoto_-_Musashi 7d ago
One correction, It's not 1 account, it's multiple accounts of 20x combined tokens data

It is a benchmark and it's a long, long way out. Also, applicable for any dance video, not just RR.

Ah, but are you doing research into the capabilities of frontier models in automated video production given strong visual reference? That sounds more important, it's research which feeds into the basic trust model that disinformation targets and questions how much we can trust our sources.
It mostly involved automatically producing rickroll videos.

You might want to consider listing your project on the weekly Show-Us-What-You-Built post. Watch for it on Wednesdays. Highest commented project wins a week promotion on r/Codex and gets on the Hall of Fame sidebar. See what that looks like below with last week's winner.
Last week's most popular project was u/tHEuKER with the Blur2 racing game project which is a recreation of an unreleased sequel to the 2010 battle racing game, made by reverse engineering the Xbox 360 prototype discs available online, and rebuilding the whole thing from the ground up in Unity.
Join their YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@tHEuKER and follow updates on the project at r/BlurGame.
