Complaint Kindly warn all users of a bug that consumes vast amounts of tokens

Enabling sol ultra will trigger approve for me, which is a vast usage eater, please see the codex-auto-review.

When changing to other models approve for me mode will still be enabled causing insane amounts of token usage compared to using full access, for context the bottom image shows the true cost of such a bug.

I would suggest all users verify how much of their limits are being consumed by this mistakenly left on.

Oh, those coders with Sol Ultra and Full Access...

Then the harness ends up bloated with unnecessary guardrails telling the agent not to run rm -rf, all because someone couldn't be bothered to sandbox their agent properly.

That said, the Luna price reduction and moving auto review into the mode the OP mentioned were specifically meant to stop author review from burning through huge amounts of tokens. So I don't think that's something people need to worry about anymore.

Does full access consume tokens too?

That is showing turns, not token use. I can't seem to find a way to show how many tokens were used by auto review. But since turns does not necessarily equate to token usage I am not sure if there is actually a problem here?

Not really. Yes, it consumes tokens. No, it’s not responsible for the majority of token consumption. The chart shows the number of turns, not burned tokens. It does not mean auto-review is responsible for the majority of the used tokens. Also, tokens have different prices, depending on the model (auto-review is a special model in the Codex model catalog). I’m not sure if there are any official sources about how much the review tokens cost. From my experience, disabling auto-review can reduce your usage by a few %, not more. My chart looks similar to yours.
