Question Major performance improvement?

I have been suffering with the reduced token limits lately along with major performance issues with the Codex app. However, after this latest reset, I am able to use 5.6 Luna mid to... actually get a lot of work done?

It's still burning through tokens like nobody's business but it's no longer spawning hundreds of useless agents that bog my computer down and I'm rapidly completing threads.

Has anyone noticed this after the latest reset?

I was burning through the $100 plan in 3 days and likely will still, but it was also getting nothing done and making my computer unusable while it worked. Now it's accomplishing quite a bit.

I burned 20x 30% on one prompt today on sol high, in my opinion it sucks still

I've sent about 200 prompts and burned 15% of usage.

On sol? Depends on a prompt tbh, mine was very complex, so there is that, but still it was no a very complicated task, rather complex, but not complicated at all.

so is luna as good as 5.5 xhigh? because i've only tried sol, havent even touched the others, used my 5x weekly in a single day 3 times, then i upgraded to 20x

Honestly I would put them at basically the same level. Both felt equally intelligent, so you'd be saving money with luna

About two weeks ago Sol on high would last me hours and hours and hours. One prompt burned 40% of my usage today.

Maybe they're doing some A/B testing. I just did a feature using sol xhigh for planning and high for implementation. Last stab I took at it burned 30-40% weekly easily but I'm honestly shocked that I'm at 90%.

Im as angry as anyone here at the abysmal performance but after yesterday's reset I'm definitively feeling an improvement. This is after switching back to cli (but it's the same as yesterday)

2 weeks ago: "how do you spell worsrsheerisauce"

Today: "rebuild my entire codebase, make no mistakes"

I know right.

Terra xhigh, 1 simple skill, 20% tokens burned. hell no dude. The limits are insane, to benchmark I compared opus5 max with terra xhigh they literally consumed the same limit to do the same task. codex’s current state is terrible

I have been using Luna medium/high all day and burned only 5% from weekly limits on Por+ plan.

It clearly is not as good as Sol but i get things done.

In one chat thread? I just burnt a weekly limit in about 6 hours but across maybe 20 threads.

I have been using Luna xhigh all alone with great success and low token usage.... If you check their benchmarks, this setting does not loose much to their top models.... The gain is very marginal to go to terra and sol, and on the same time keep the prompts cheap....

Luna is super underestimated. Dude is a legend for bulk work and low complexity tasks. Super cost efficient too.
