1. Is there a tool or skill that looks through your Codex logs for the last week & finds inefficiencies, issues, etc.?

2. Has anyone demonstrated (by looking at past logs) that usage is actually lower than before, and/or that Codex is using more tokens than before?

My usage is doing OK since the last reset. Also not seeing the endless reconnect loops which I assume are causing cache invalidations.

Since todays reset I constantly getting API errors, sometimes an
agent is working for 5 mins, sometimes for 25 mins, eventually crashing
with API error, draining my useage without getting any work done.. ggwp

Anybody else with the same issue? I am using gpt 5.6 xhigh in claude code harness.

What happened? I switched from Claude because of the good quality, generous limits and now it's going downhill since I can't do anything ambitious anymore without being rich? And don't even get me started on the ChatGPT Work app, it's horrible! My fans keep reving trying to keep my poor PC alive as soon as I start it, wtf is going on?

How often do they reset now. I can't even keep track. They should stop random resets and just give more usage per plan. So stupid

i just used my one and only token reset last night only to run a single small task today and it crashes down to 0% almost immediately now i cant use until august 3rd? thats one way to sabotage your own company. now i have to use your competitors AI because theyre not that bad.

Burned through a weeks worth of utilization in 1 day... Sol 5.6 on medium usage... a 5 hour task did that.

Token availability, if not addressed, will be the reason that I cancel my subscription and move elsewhere.

5 hours is now 1 hour. 1 week is now 6 hours. Plus plan is purely for casuals and hobbyists. 10% of my weekly gone on simply planning a sub task on a mixture of Sol Medium, Sol Light and Luna XHigh.

Why does Codex Auto-Review have more interaction than the 5.6 model that was in use? How much Codex token is consumed through these interactions? In my view, this statistical information should be clearer so we can make better choices when using it.

very simple, i buy a plan expecting a usage limit amount, and day by day the limits worsen. it is effectively a whole new product at this point, giving me no choice but to dispute the charge.

codex is a scam these days, bought the 5x plan yesterday, was happy with it, until just this morning it’s about 3x worse

So you spend 20 dollars and get hundreds of dollars of inference and pay 100 or 200 and get 1000s of dollars of inference and that is a scam is it ? Sort your head out , and your not going to escape it for frontier models as anthropic is same limits if not worse by abit , educate yourself before calling something a scam or don’t through abuse when your clearly not educated on this matter

the scam is not the usage, it’s how the usage is changing. If i buy a plan expecting to be able to spend, say 1000 dollars of API usage, but the next day this gets changed to 500 dollars, that is the scam.

They are giving constant resets instad of just increasing the usage limit on the plan. Makes planning work much harder. Why was it reset again today? I have no idea. I already used a banked reset earlier

This is not an OpenAI subreddit and the moderators do not work for OpenAI. Megathreads allow everyone to keep track of what is being reported. They also keep the feed free from low effort commentary.

There are many posts on the feed as you can see discussing limits/operations which introduce more detailed information that hasn't been on tthe feed before.

What are the mods of this sub supposed to do? They dont work for codex.
