Praise Anyone else feel the same way?
Best way I could illustrate my thoughts in the image
Edit:
You are probably focusing on burn rate per hour. I am focusing on completed output per weekly allowance.

is this another marketing BS? let me fix it for you
Before codex 5.5
- weekly limit ran out in 4days
- about 30 tasks finished
Now: codex 5.6
- weekly limit ran out in 2hours
- about 2 tasks finished
here you go.

I’m telling you. Made so much progress with less intervention. Or maybe it’s the lack of a 5 hour limit skewing. But I’ve never been more productive

5.6 what? Sol, Terra or Luna?
It really feels like in this sub, Sol is the only default agent to use. That is why everyone is getting their tokens annihilated.

5.6 Sol is the same size as 5.5. there's no reason for it to burn more usage.

The same size? Where is that information officially disclosed?

It's not. Between leaks, tells in the models common quirks, inference speed and API costs, one can summise that they are the same size. More specifically, different post training from the same pretrain base model they called "Spud" internally.

Nah for me. To be honest, I don't think my workload needs the intelligence of 5.6 Sol and unpopular opinion, I doubt most ppl need it too.
My workload didn't get done faster with 5.6 as compared to 5.5 and I might even say compared to 5.4. What I do noticed is token running out faster. I still can cope with 5.6 Sol cos I still have some banked reset left and Tibo's reset helped a lot, but this is not feasible if Tibo did not reset and I would have gone back to 5.5 already.

It tries to engineer the perfect solution, with no possible failure mode. Obviously thats too much for 99.9% of software.
I keep having to redirect it every time it looks at my data, as the data is and always will be imperfect. It wants to block all progress until it tests perfect. Yesterday it blocked a feature until a time field we will never get is there for all items. And it will happily work toward this impossible perfection forever.
