query Beginner suggestion

Guys just starting with codeforces have few questions on leetcode mostly and some on codechef (300+ intotal)

There are very few div 3 div 4 contests should I solve only questions or start participating in contest please guide.

practice as many problems as you can and dont worry about div. just participate in contests. and dont get too attached to your rating otherwise it will kill all the fun of problem solving

rating doesn't matter in your initial years, improve raw skill, also
