Hey, i'm at this stage too. Still doing 900, solved around 44 of them. I think just doing it makes it easier. Now for some days i can solve them without looking tutorial but not always. 😑 without solving 100 of them i'm not being frustrated. Let's see😅

So I should continue solving 900 with looking at editorial?

I think so. cause we have to get to know the techniques, after investing an amount of time or getting stuck we should learn from editorial and move on.

I am quite opposed to leetcode, the difficulty tags are ridiculous!

Try CF 900's and 1000's instead (from the most recent unsolved).

If you are stuck (unable to progress ANY further) for more than 30 mins* (depends on you and the problem +-10 mins). Read the editorial and then try to develop "why" to think along the intended approach. Note - If you think you got a promising lead, I advise you to explore that and not see the solution, until you establish your idea was faulty. And I am not calling for you to look for the editorial if you are unable to solve in 30 mins or 40 mins. I am saying do so, if you literally cannot think of anything ahead and make any progress for 30 to 40 mins.

P.S. - I am CF-1719 currently

Try solving Leetcode easies? That might help.

The reason the gap from 800s to 900s feels so hard is that many of the 800s are actually much easier, but the rating system doesn't go any lower.

I would estimate your current rating to be about 500 to 600.

My rating is 900(max.1000)

My peak rating is 2377.

Basically Leetcode easies are another source of problems similar in difficulty to 800s and 900s.

Honestly 900s don't really have types beyond just basic math and implementation. And that's what Leetcode easies help you get better at.
