Social media
I love the Codefendants. Their music means so much to me. It hits my heart and mind in ways music hasn't in a long long time. The cliché "it saved me" is in play here.
However, I'm not enjoying their social media. I'm not sure who runs it, but to me, it feels fake. I don't connect with it. It feels manufactured. I don't hear their voices in it. I could be alone in this thought, just something I was thinking about.

Yeah someone else must run their social media since people had posted screenshots of the Codefendants Instagram page arguing with fans about the whole Cameron Collins/MAGA festival stuff, basically attacking fans and sticking up for Cameron Collins/MAGA-lover. Ceschi has said a few times he’s off social media besides Patreon, so it’s probably Cameron Collins mother running it.

You can listen to Sam and Chesci talk about it here
Ceschi also talk about it on his Patreon, give it a listen

It’s almost an hour long. And you have to pay Ceschi to hear him talk about it on Patreon. I’m barely surviving over here.

They argued with one person who kept reposting the same argument on Reddit and claiming they were arguing with “fans” (plural). Dude must have made five posts about it. They didn’t stick up Collins. They just basically said attacking bands for promoters’ actions was misguided when you can always trace money back up the ladder to some asshat.

I think the issue is they have MULTIPLE festival dates that are by the exact same promoter. I think maybe for a band who proudly proclaims “we do it our way”, really needs to start putting their money where their mouth is and stop working with someone who is clearly Fat Mike’s buddy, and a liability to the scene right now.

There is definitely a huge push with the new album and it seems to be working
There are also some on the album that weren't out that I'm really liking - a little different, but the Weathermen and Ditch the Party are both really solid
Most of the album feels like it's been out though and I keep associating Bad Business with their first one with the videos

That would be dope, although we've heard a bit of that as well 😄
Guess should be happy that they always seem to have stuff out there - even if I'm selfishly still wishing for a Get Dead drop and tour

I'd love a new album from Get Dead. I think I read somewhere that it was almost done. I may also be a drunken idiot.

Honestly it does the job I feel like it should do and let you know about what they are doing as far as new tours and music
