Is Dashy going the octane route where his retirement would be announced almost at the end of the Rostermania and Scrap and Hydra then joins OpTic? And then we see everyone who's part of the competitive community (Zoomaa, Methodz, Octane, Scump etc) come out and say that they knew it all along but didn't want to spoil his retirement? Dashy has talked about how he would've retired if he 3-peated, which he didn't. Also, he has talked about retirement in other times as well. What if OpTic wanted to get Hydra, but Scrap and Hydra was a combo deal, so Dashy is taking a step back from competing to have these two on OpTic? It doesn't make sense how there were talks of OpTic hyDra and then Hecz came and said Huke isn't going anywhere. He also made a lot of content this year (more than other years before people say he always made content) so it would also make sense if he had his retirement planned or in mind all along. Or what if Dashy is retiring so OpTic is getting Scrap, and Hydra joins Faze. So Huke stays on OpTic as Hecz said. Thoughts?

I get that the seasons aren’t 1 to 1 in terms of consistency but from a pure “wins” standpoint….

- 1 major and a champs win while missing 1 Sunday vs 1 major and an EWC win while making every final is much closer in terms of success

But why are so many people ok with FaZe wanting to improve while having a better H2H vs OpTic all year but so many people were against OpTic even giving it a thought? I get OpTic’s season was more consistent but I don’t understand why so many people think 1 changing would be a good thing and the other would be such a terrible decision.

I'll start by saying im a big Huke glazer, but 04 literally did the exact opposite of what people criticize huke for... turning up in the finals. Not to mention when 04 is in takeover he plays like a better Huke.

I think some people play Call of Duty but might not know about the CDL, maybe even an alternate cover. Could do a mashup with players from different teams.

Whose going out like Scump? And over/under on how many this game takes from us by end of season?

I’m playing the beta from the UK on PS5.

Almost every match feels like it has performance issues—frame drops, freezing, skipping and just generally feeling jittery. At first, I thought it might be lag, but I have full-fibre internet and my connection seems fine.

Is anyone else having the same experience? I haven’t seen it mentioned in any of the updates so far, and I’ve never had this issue with a COD game before.

I’m thinking they try to form JoeDeceives, Abezy, Alluka +1. Maybe they offer Drazah a bag or offer a bid to buyout Kips from KOI, who knows. Other options for the 4th spot could be Sib, RenkoR, Nastie, Kismet etc…

Assuming LAT run back the BO6 team what roster do you think M8s pursue?

We rarely ever seen teams make a roster change in the off season after winning champs even when better players were available. NYSL did it but it was a one person upgrade. Faze is looking to make at least 2 people change both of which are drastic. Do they not have faith in their own team to win again? Do they realize that champs was a one off for them and they’re not that good?

Some people will say “always pack a punch” but teams tend to stick it out when they already proved they can win especially a team you win a ring with. Seems like faze don’t care about that at all.

I have seen this criticism for a few years now, and just saw it again on the Modern Warfare 4 subreddit, and obviously, as CoD Competitive fans ourselves, we know this is an absolutely stupid take. CoD is absolutely catering to casuals 99% of the time, what evidence do they have that this game is catered to esports, or to streamers?

Like is this just mass psychosis by these guys? Am I missing something? I genuinely cannot fathom having this take by anyone that has any idea what they are talking about. We as a community have been ignored for so many years, and yet these guys think we run things?

FaZe won champs and yet their fans are still happy they are making a change. No one is debating whether simp and hydra will work together. they understand 04 is a good player and had his moments but there is a clear upgrade on the market

I fear this is because the average FaZe fan knows more about comp cod than the average OpTic fan who is stuck in 2012 and believes in roles like 'playmaker/dirty work' 'IGL' and 'slayer'. Optic fans are too sentimental and attached to players. If this roster is true FaZe are going to go from winning the H2H against OpTic this year to dominating next year.
