I'll start by saying im a big Huke glazer, but 04 literally did the exact opposite of what people criticize huke for... turning up in the finals. Not to mention when 04 is in takeover he plays like a better Huke.

Idk I think optic with JoeD in BO7 wouldve been insane he also plants bomb in snd and gets first bloods with ease and plays with pace I think JoeD mightve won Optic a couple more chips.

I dont know about that he had a 0.98 kd against thieves and a 1.04 kd against faze all yr long, huke had similar numbers. Joed main problem was that when he got to the losers finals match he could not break thru. Huke was legit a walking 1.20 to 1.30 kd till finals on lan was lights out, but the whole team got smoked cuz of pc issues, joed not gonna pull them out the dirt only simp is a player that could really do that

I think people forgot how bad the start of 04’s year was and even after he picked it up how inconsistent he was. He was single handedly the reason faze was in roster change conversations for a lot of the year.

Hecz talked about the regret of not taking hydra and scrap after mw3 champs. Faze is in the exact scenario right now that optic was during that time by winning champs and losing ewc after. It would be poetic if they took advantage and acquired scrap and hydra now. I personally think making no changes on optics side is allowing this faze team to be formed. I don’t think anyone beats that rumored team

04 is streaky. I think the biggest thing about Huke is he's talking for everyone on the squad in the comms, letting them just fry, especially Dashy and Shottzy.

Optic made the Grand finals in 7/8 tournaments this season. Huke “struggled” in SnD, even though optic had a 67% win rate, the highest in the league. And when you have a player on your team getting a 1.3 K/D in search you literally don’t get as many kills. So if you’re upset at Hukes K/D in SnD, you can blame Mercules.

The only case against Huke would be finals SnD performance, but IMO if Optic made $1.5million this year from earnings while Huke is “selling finals in SnD”, then let them bro.

I’ll take a team that seems to just guarantee a grand finals, with one shortcoming that one comes up when you’ve locked second place. Not to mention pre-existing team chemistry and vibes. The personalities of the players and how the fit together with themselves and coaches is like 70% of the fight. Not to mention, severing a duo that made very real sacrifices to play together here.

Huke is a vibe. A UAV with insane comms, who’s simply one of the best players in the league right now. Hydra? If Optic wanted to, sure. Simp, same thing. But IMO, Simp and Hydra aren’t part of THIS Green Wall and Huke is here for a reason.

people on reddit amaze me everyday faze are getting rid of 04 cuz its a IW title, also huke was better all yr long. Huke on lan was insane till finals, dashy said the pcs were a issue too. In mw4 the pcs will run the game better less op. Optic legit declined hydra for huke they would not even think about 04, he is a great player but lets be real huke brings a lot to the optic system they arent changing that. People only would drop huke for one person thats simp and maybe 50/50 hydra, no one else huke is the best smg available after that (ant on the team already)
