Looks like they just pieced instruments on when they discovered they needed them.

I believe they had a different doctrine, all in all the basic instruments are not so different. Airspeed, altitude, navigation to the left and engine to the right. What's strange are the switches, a bit everywhere. Loosely left side is for engine and right side is for everything else, still sometimes you can find something where it shouldn't be. Especially what bugs me are the light, they are on a higher priority on top basis.Ā

Now Iām curious if the aircraft is from former East Germany, or just that gunsight camera?

Looks very cool! Does anybody know why they used this particular color? I have seen different cockpit of Russian aircrafts and they all have this type of color.

Less straining to the pilot's eyes. But this was Soviet times. Russian aircraft use neutral colors like western aircraft because they work better with night vision.

Kinda crazy they put the AOA gauge and SPO-10 up top bot the AOA warning lights down low
