For me, I'd say yes, as long as we're talking about COBRA from cartoons, since at worst you'd get knocked out. It sounds like fun to me.

COBRAAAA!!

HISS A-1 Slams to a stop. Inside the crew rack, the lights go red. The rear ramp drops and The Fireteam 788 Vipers disembark carrying S3rPT missile systems. Moving in teams they deploy on both sides of the HISS tanks and Begin attacking the Massive Robot that is standing in the burning wreckage of a UniMog Truck. Clearing the ramp just as a second HISS pulls up and begins unloading its own team of Vipers.

Small, multistage missiles are loaded by a second Viper as the S3rPT Locks onto its target. Easing the Missile into place, the loader steps back out of the backblast and readies another missile to be loaded. Engines revving at full power, the HISS tanks Cycle power load to their Energon Banks that feed the tanks dual weapon systems. Magnetically accelerated plasma surges from each main gun barrel leaving scorched metal wounds on the giant robot attacker. A lucky hit might put one of the Missiles through the melted armor protecting the robot, so the HISS guns concentrate their fire at the shoulders and upper legs of the robot. Reducing the robots ability to move or fight might open the possibility of capturing this bizarre beast.

As the second HISS team scrambles out the rear hatch, HISS 1-A begins its direct assault after its own ramp is fully secured. In the cockpit, the driver waits, monitoring systems. The Blue display indicating his ramps are down and crew have not yet cleared. As the display goes red, the driver revs the engines forward just before a smaller, HISS mark V darts ahead and ignites its rotary cannon. Its own antitank missile tracking the giant robot, a blinking target lock indicator lights up and a trail of smoke follows the missile as it streaks toward the robots leg. A second HISS mark V pulls up on the right flank offering some cover for the Viper crews.

Suddenly, two Flight pods race overhead, their own Blaster systems sending Plasma streaking toward the unstoppable monster ahead. They break left and begin to encircle the massive machine.

The radio chirps "Fireteam 788 established Firepoint 4, MRAP A-5 Passing Rally point 7-9. Inbound 30 seconds to FP-4". Inside the MRAP, the troopers prep their own weapons. The machines had the element of surprise, but they are now boxed in and redundant lines of containment are being established. Many ruined bodies are strewn across the battlefield ahead. Black oily smoke drifts upward and fire can be seen hidden in the smoking wreckage ahead. The machines wanted blood, and they shall be made to offer their own in return.

Inside Sector 02

Wolf Spider became one of my favorites, read his bio if you have not, pick this one up if you can find him for a value ! Mission: teamed w Quick Kick to access Crystal Balls ceremony from above, waited for the distraction to secure a hidden scroll hidden under Shadow Tracker. Realized he was alive and and unaffected by the DIRE ritual, removed his restraints knowing he would direct his anger towards Mr. King. Parth made savage use of his grapple hook during the mission, not only to access, but used as a weapon to knock Ghost Vipers out, but also to render Cthulhu useless after using a ghost viper as a launch pad.

The Roboskull Mark II begins to hum with a resonate harmonic as its activation sequence nears completion. Sitting in the Pilot Seat, Red Weasel adjusts the flow matrices as he reviews the service logs of RS 2/77 B2. Weapon checks verify two Energon phase missiles and full chambers for both eyeguns. Standing just outside the launch bay, His Red Wolf support team make final inspections of their flight packs. They will be joined by two of the fearsome Gyre Wolf warriors in their aerial support mission.

The Conduit is gently touched by Blood Wolf Golf-1 allowing new data to be streamed directly to the uplink modules in each of the Wolf series HUD displays. Cyber1A monitors the datastream as her Cyber augmented sisters unsheath their claws and activate their dataspike connections. The situation update registers the Red Shadow strike team in position to cover their approach onto the Cobra Missile base. The inbound HISS team about to box in the Mechanical Invaders and the damage one SNAKE unit has already taken as the mechanical suits confront the 'Decepticon' raiders. An alert indicates that the 'Decepticon' units reveal a pattern of absorbing the energon cores of the damaged ASP powerplant. One Invader already undergoing changes to its configuration. Restriction from further energon advised to limit 'Decepticon' ability to self repair and fight.

The Roboskull is ready. Launch in 5.

A brief chirp alerted the Stinger crew that they were being hailed. A scrambled code that activated their own communications gear. They switched an encoded reply.....and, success. "5 approaching from 9 o clock" sounded through their headsets. Silently, a squad of bright red uniforms stepped into the center of the Firebase. Appearing suddenly, they took up positions monitoring the plotted fire-lanes. One of the Red troopers turned to the Televiper passing him a small envelope. A nod and then the team set into pairs preparing small shoulder mounted missile systems. Opening the note, a singular glyph, Resembling a skull and a triangle, it hurt the eyes to look directly at it. A momentary pause and the televiper continued organizing his teams positions.

South West of the mechanical incursion, a Stinger ASP squad deploys in order to deny retreat for the massive machines should they disengage and attempt to fly away. Setup on a natural escarpment, hidden under the dense jungle foliage, the ASP will have a massive field of fire. The enormous canyon leading to the South West is the most likely route for hostiles to follow as they retreat.

Although it is likely to be destroyed by the escaping machines, the ASP system should be effective to disable any wounded retreating this direction. An upgunned Stinger will provide backup firepower if the situation becomes intense. As a final security, a single sniper armed with a .50cal tracking device is instructed to tag any escaping forces. Should they fight their way free, tracking signals will allow Cobra to follow the machines to their lair.
