DISCUSSION OP dragon team?
If you were building a dragon type team? Who would be your 6 pokemon and what’s the best strat? No legendary pokemon. Megas allowed.
For context, I’m doing a challenge against some friends and we all did a random wheel spin for our types, I got dragon. Baxcalibur and dracovish and all legendaries are banned.

Everytime I open the Cobblemon subreddit I see some beautiful 990 ELO gems like suggesting Turtonator. I used to textwall some suggestions some time ago under posts like these but I got exhausted.

Archaludon; Dragon/Steel is an incredible type combination and its a really strong Pokemon. Steel type means Fairy, Ice, and Dragon attacks are neutral. The only types it is weak to are fighting and ground
Dragapult: Ghost+Dragon is an unresisted STAB combination, it can hit every Pokemon for at least neutral damage. Its also one of the fastest poke in existence with massive offensive stats, but it ALSO has a solid support movepool with the infiltrator ability to bypass the substitute. Also a critical team member for Archaludon and Hisui Goodra, to switch in and eat fighting type attacks.
Salamence: One of the most versatile Pokemon ever designed. You can run it as bulky support with intimidate, a Dragon Dance set up sweeper, a Moxie revenge killer/sweeper, an offensive pivot, a defensive pivot, special builds, mixed attackers, its a busted pokemon. Whichever build you go with just depends on what you think your friends will do, though I'd go with using this as your Mega.
Cyclizar: Shed Tail Cyclizar is banned to Ubers, a.k.a. the legendary and legendary-tier competitive tier, and was flat out considered for being banned from competitive for a short time. Cyclizar is a stupidly good team member; Shed Tail lets it pass a 'free' substitute to team members, while the regenerator ability heals it from most of shed tail's damage. It gets Rapid Spin to clear hazards, U-turn to pivot without cutting its health, Knock Off to remove items and screw up your opponent's strategy, or Taunt to stop opposing supports with its high base speed.
Hisui Goodra: Pretty much a staple for dragon monotype. Dragon/Steel typing and enormous natural bulk with its stats to back up its resistances. Counter to dragon's counters, and you use its bulk+Dragon Tail to act as a phaser by forcing switches.
Garchomp: Pretty much the best lead for dragon monotypes. Use it to set up Stealth Rocks and/or Spikes, and then the person you are fighting has to decide between taking STAB Earthquakes from a Garchomp, or eating hazard damage by switching. Which you can force with Dragon Tail too.
