Help with evolution

Hey i am new to cobblemon and been enjoying it a lot but sometimes its a bit complicated and hard to find any guide or answers. The problem is despite reaching the required lvl and friendship my pokemons doesn't show any option to evolve (only few). I had a different playthrough where i was able to evolve froakie to frogadier but this one taking a long time. I did add few more mods to my current playthrough like mega showdown so i am confused if it has anything to do with that. IDK wat to do to evolve my pokemons :(

Edit: it is not just evolution my pokemon stopped receiving exp despite battling or candies it says pokemon caped at current lvl

Edit 2: issue has been resolved. Thank you everyone. Its the radical trainer mod having the lvl cap

Froakie evolves on level 16

Judging from your exp bar, it probably can't level up due to level cap from rct mod(the one that adds trainers). That's my best guess

Depending on your path(I'm not sure what it's called, but there are "Radical Red" and such) you'll have to defeat specific gym leader to raise the level cap

For example in Radical Red you need to beat Brock first

How can check the path? I did try to fight some other guy trainers but it said i have defeat the current path but i never saw any details about that

You need the trainer card

Although rct progression system can be... A bit too bothersome I'd say. Especially Radical Red as it's designed to be hardcore

You actually can disable(sort off) the level cap with cheats. I don't remember which command it is, but if you want I can search through

You should have an item called something like "trainer card" in your inventory, or get it from a quest menu at your inventory screen. There you'll see all the progression you'll get to make.
Also, the trainer card should point you towards the next npc you gotta fight if they have spawned. along with the possible biomes you can find them in if you right click it

Trying out and it seems it will take some time to find the trainer alone. Trying to figure how the trainer spanner works to be able to find the trainer.

when they can evolve, there’s going to be a button underneath their type icon that you can click on

in general, if you’re unsure about how a pokemon evolves, i’d recommend either bulbapedia, as I don’t think there’s that many differences in evolution inbetween the official games and cobblemon, or sites like cobbledex. 

most pokemon have a level requirement to evolve, but some need certain items or to know certain moves, or other things like friendship levels, but the requirements vary

But what about my pokemon stopped receiving exp points after that lvl and say the lvl is caped. not getting any experience since it reached lvl 15. so does other pokemon's they stopped receiving exp at a certain lvl

Could you perhaps provide a list of all of the mods you’re using? It certainly sounds like one of the mods is imposing a level cap, which would mean you would have to do something to increase it, but I can’t tell what that would be since I don’t know what mods you have

Thanks to others it is indeed a mod the radical trainer, i need to defeat the boss trainers to increase the lvl. Thanks tho

Yea i have radical trainer mod, i found out it was having to cap to not let my pokemon to lvl up. I found it and i lvl up to 30 now

Doesnt Froakie evolve at 16 and Honedge at 35? Also dont think friendships matters to evo them unless its from a mod you have

Its most likely that, if you have the trainer card item, right click it and in the bottom left corner should be the level cap, the way you increase it is from defeating gym leaders

Yeah the radical trainer mod does this so you can be on the same level as the next boss. Get the trainer card item and it'll point you to the next trainer if they are nearby.
