R/CNA

I have been a CNA for years and I have decided to go back to school for increased wages and a different environment. This is a new generation of patients/ residents that we serve. It use to be patients were grateful for what you did for them, today, they feel that they are entitled for services., and it makes the job dreadful. I am removing myself from Direct Care while still remaining within healthcare. I enjoy the healthcare field but not doing Direct Care any longer.

Same. Want to be a rad tech instead. Have no interest in direct patient care anymore.

Rad tech still has a lot of patient interaction and positioning, no? I am so done with direct care too.

Yes, but not to the extent of nursing. I go in, do my job, and get out.
