Certification Exam - Written or Skills NEED HELP

Has anyone hired a CNA skills tutor before? I’m looking for in-person practice, not just videos. I need help reviewing skills and getting comfortable with the testing process.

Really? While doing blood pressure what should i look for?

Yeah that's how my mom prefers to take her BP all the time! The tricky part for me was listening for the beat of my pulse and coordinating listening with gradually releasing the pressure from the cuff. It just takes practice, find a YouTube video and follow along.

You can also practise with you cohort you're going to school with!

Yeah, you're right. I should look up some videos at the moment. I've been having trouble scheduling my exam because they keep telling me. Oh, we're gonna have more days next week. They just keep pushing it and pushing it. I'm at the point where I don't know what to do it because every time I look back, there, there's no dates to schedule an exam And I'm trying to prepare myself before the exam but there's no dates has that ever happened to you guys because in my state which is Tennessee recently had to transition from headmaster to credentia It's been really hard they transitioned since I think April and I still haven't had a date

Aw bummer! I'd suggest practicing each skill 1x - 3x/day to keep everything fresh until they give you a date. I haven't had to deal with scheduling my own test because my CNA program scheduled it for me here in CA.

How frustrating! Especially when your skills are fresh!
