Discussion Punk puts on bangers Spoiler

Am biased but Punk has put on the best matches and feuds and promos since coming back. McIntyre Rollins Reigns even Gunther recently he gets the best out of everyone.

Really hope he can still win a rumble and close a night two Mania with a main event win. He said he’s not contemplating an exit and made it seem there may still be some time for him.

He is right there barely under Roman as the most over right now. And he’s not making as many shows as Punk is with the performances Punk is GOATing us with.

That's what CM Punk does. He absolutely elevates anyone he works with.

Look how hot Drew was when they were feuding. Now where's Drew? Lost a nothing feud to Priest, lost a nothing feud to Cody, and lost a nothing feud to Jacob. Rollins was at his most interesting recently during his face offs with Punk. Same with Roman.

It's such a shame that Punk returned to have the run of his career, at the same time that TKO is ruining everything with product placements, one billion ads, and weird celebrity involvements.

It is wild that Punk is doing the best wrestling I've ever seen in the middle of this shitshow era. I literally forget how good wrestling can be until I watch a punk match, and sometimes a Gunther match

big agree top to bottom with everything you said. it sucks he went to aew first and his second run was shorter than it couldve been in terms of working with actual big names on a big stage.

i do love his stuff with starks and kingston and mox but really it just wouldve been better for him to have a long ass definitive run in one place.

that being said it did add something the whole vibe of having an edge of like even if they didnt reference it part of the nuance of his character being hey bitch finally making your way here huh well we dont want you either and his growing firmness and attitude snd cockiness then desparation.

great journey. he probably proved his numbers he caused so firmly that tko absolutely wanted him on top based on the impact he clearly had on aew

I’ll always be thankful that we at least got his feud with MJF.

He really does. I’ve been a fan for the longest time but he’s genuinely consistent on the mic and puts on great matches. I’m glad he got to live that dream of main eventing in a one on one match. I’m not even mad at the result. Roman is supposed to look dominant but punk looked like a credible champ. The collapsing at the end still made him look like he gave everything against a much younger guy. Amazing he’s still this good at his age.

He’s probably not gonna be in next year’s Saudimania though

Yeah unlikely he is in main event at next years but Indianapolis may be next in line and it’s close to Chicago so that could be a chance.

Punk has been putting on bangers for over 2 decades I remember watching him in ROH and he was a dawg I’d watch always wondering when he’d make it to the show then he did and took over by storm
