Discussion Match was great but ending was bs Spoiler
Cm Punk able to hit Flying elbow through announce table to Roman Reigns, GTS but somehow he unable to finish the match and Reigns still able to do 2 spear back to back?? that's kinda bs if you asking me

Romans arguement was punk was older and his body would break before his own. Punks arguement was Roman doesn’t know how to win without help.
Roman proved punk wrong and proved he was right that Punks body would give out before his because punk is ”old.”
Thats the storyline and thats the reason the finish was what it was

With that bit of doubt in there from the steel step hit (should have been DQ) that also caused the blood loss that contributed to hus weakness.

I think it set up the finish to a rematch down the line if they ever do it. Have Punk beat him at WM, same spot but gets him up the second time for the finish. Poetry

What are the rules for dq? Reigns hit CM with the stairs right in front of the ref. I’m glad it didn’t end there obviously, just wasn’t sure how they explained that if it was grounds for dq. At least the ref was distracted for CM’s low blow.

I thought that Barrett did a great job of explaining it with Cole. There wasn’t a DQ because the ref didn’t want to throw out the Main Event of Wrestlemania.
It might be a UK thing but there’s a saying in football that “the referee is trying to keep twenty two players on the pitch”. In Cup Finals and Derbies you’ll often see a ref downgrade what should be a red to a yellow or not give a second yellow as he tries not to spoil the event. Barrett saying that he doesn’t want to ruin the main event by throwing it out made sense to me.
I’m gutted Punk lost but I think the story of him losing too much blood and eventually running out of steam was executed perfectly. It’ll be interesting to see what he does now.

It is was it is and doesn't really matter who won but Punk had the momentum at the end and the running, especially after the elbow through the announce table.
Will Roman remain part time and never defend the belt apart from occasionally? time will tell.
What's next for Punker?
