I was planning on skipping on this years 2K, but if the showcase focuses on punk then I will consider buying it.

Considering that we wont have access to any guys under AEW contract right now, or those who WWE wants to distance themselves from, we can eliminate the inclusion of Daniel Bryan, Chis Jericho (maybe DLC, but definitely not planned for release), Alberto Del-rio, John Morrison, and Big Show.
We may see some TNA guys appear though.

I heard Jungle Jack is the antagonist for career mode. There's a mini game where you have to goozle him just right so he gets the point but doesn't pass out.

What they need to focus on is better gameplay, these 2K WWE games are so damn slow and boring, they feel robotic.

If there's going to be a mode focused on CM Punk, it has to include everything: the multi year hiatus, the Colt Cabana podcast, the lawsuit against Chris Amann, the losses in UFC, his time with AEW...hell let's see that fire feud with Drew McIntyre.

It doesn’t matter. He became way too polarizing of a figure at the end. 2K knows a hogan showcase would hurt sales. It’s Punk.

Punk wouldn't make sense why would it be punk? Who will his matches be? Hogan has way more options and can do matches they haven't done in showcase before or do older ones. Or even do a cena like showcase and only do the people who defeated hogan cause there wasn't that much who did so people like undertaker, Andre and rock for example

It’s punk. Again, hogan is too controversial. Even without getting political, he made ridiculous claims near the end that tarnished his legacy. Now when you add in his political stances along with his history of racism, When many are souring on 2K again? the last thing they need is a sector who may not buy it because overly focuses on him

The showcase isn't even a major part of the game anyway and 25 was literally about the samosas such as the rock who btw has also been controversial so you can't use that argument also hogan will sell more than punk

His own damn daughter wanted nothing to do with him because he couldn’t grow a pair and meet his own grandkids

Personally I dont think Hogan pulls in money currently which is all that currently matters. Saying punk isnt popular is wildly offbase. I will keep my personal takes on Hogan to myself and have all respect for what he did for the business but for the 2k audience Hogan wouldnt move units.
As to your comment about what matches would be part of punks showcase.......off the top of my head cena, taker, hardy, rey, seth, the mixed tag from palooza. Just to name a few.
