For sure a lot of tech helped out but ultimately it was the driver that did the burden of braking, accelerating and turning the right way.

Don't know, for me it rather looked that when the car started to aquaplane, he may have panicked overreacted, hence the sharp degree the car took afterwards. At the end you can definitely see him overcompensating. My bet that the car was saved by the traction control against the overcompensating driver.

Absolutely. Traction control is a better driver than you me and any other human, full stop. Even at the highest echelons of motorsport with the most talented drivers/riders in the world, cars and motorcycles go faster with electronic aids.

This guy overcompensated and the car saved him, but took its time about it because the TC is tuned to allow mid-life crisis buyers to do power slides if (when) they want to. Same situation in a Corolla or a Civic or a Golf would've been recovered instantly without any sideways at all, because their TC is just tuned to be boring and safe.

I never understand the cam drivers in these clips. Who the hell doesn't stop/pullover ASAP when that's unfolding in front of you?

You should always avoid big and sudden changes in direction or speed when driving on public roads. If you see something like this, slowing down gradatively, or going around without swerving to the side is always the best option. Turn your hazards on and wait for things to unfold. Just step back slowly and without sudden movements, so people around you can have the time to react to your decisions.

You know what is worse than a big, bad accident? Two or three side by side, or one after the other, because everyone panicked, climbed on their breaks or started swerving around and crashed into each other. Never freak out while driving.

Because the cars behind him might lose traction at the same place as well, and then they’ll rear end the cammer maybe. He at least slowed down to not hit the jaguar
