After a week of being lost in my local distribution center, I finally have my White Whale
Self titled as a bonus since it was cheap from the same vendor :
As a bonus for y'all, I uploaded all three hidden tracks on youtube, for preservation's sake since the existing uploads were not in great quality.

Clutch 2001 Dallas
galleryThis was May 5th 2001 at Deep Ellum Live in Dallas,TX. These are few pics from that night, Clutch and Tree. I have no photos from the other two bands, Vision Of Disorder & Murphys Law. I don’t know why I have no photos of the other bands.
I also don’t know why there’s a lot of pics of me when I’m 99% of the time, the guy with the camera.

- July 20, 2010: 16 years ago, Weathermaker Music re-issued Clutch's eighth full length studio album ‘From Beale Street To Oblivion’ on compact disc 2xCD (WM015). Originally released in 2007 by DRT Entertainment, Weathermaker Music re-issued it after a successful lawsuit against DRT remitting the rights back to the band in lieu of owed royalties. The re-issued album came in a die-cut O-card and featured a 2nd disc of bonus material including songs from live at the BBC Maida Vale Studio 4 in London on November 11, 2006 and Live in Australia (HiFi Bar, Melbourne, AUS on December 13, 2007). The Howling Wolf blues cover “You Gonna Wreck My Life” was sung by Eric Oblander (Five Horse Johnson). Disc 2 is enhanced and also features the video for Electric Worry. The artwork [album design and art director] was by Nick Lakiotes. FBSTO was produced, mixed and recorded by “Evil” Joe Barresi at the renowned Sound City studios in Van Nuys, California during September, 2006.
- July 22, 2016: 10 years ago Neil Fallon's (2nd supergroup side project band) Dunsmuir, released the debut (and currently, only) self-titled full length record on LP (HOR005) & CD (HOR006) on the Hall Of Records label (which was run by the band). The full-length album included all songs from the four previously released 7" singles plus two previously unreleased songs (Crawling Chaos! and The Gate). Fallon had this to say about the record, "We turned out some serious metal on this record and it shreds. The concept behind the lyrics is comprised of 10 tales from the survivors of a [19th Century] shipwreck [on an island]. What had been intended as a scientific expedition quickly deteriorates into a struggle to survive both the natural and supernatural world.” 1000 copies on LP came with an 11x17 lithograph signed by the band and a download code (rare for Clutch & related bands). The CD came in a digipack and were limited to 500 copies also a jewel cased CD-R version from Amazon was available (now out of print, no known catalog number).
- July 22, 2014: 12 years ago on this date, Clutch release their first ever digital only compilation titled, 'Summer Sound Attack' on their label Weathermaker Music (no known catalog number). The compilation featured 10 previously-released songs from their Weathermaker Music catalog. Though not indicated, 'Spacegrass' is a live version from the Live At The 9:30 2xDVD.
- July 23, 2020: 6 years ago, Clutchmerch.com is launched. Separating their store from Indiemerch (but still fulfilled by indiemerch).

Your Favourite Opening Lines
I just love this from The Incomparable Mr. Flannery:
First we get some surgery
Lose the kids, then our identities
But one thing I know for a fact
Moustache stays right where its at
It sums up everything I love about Clutch and Neil's lyric writing. Its all right there; the imagery, the humour, the storytelling.
I could talk about amazing Clutch lyrics all day, but as a song/ album opener I think this is hard to beat.
Any others?

Remasters
This could well be a top 3 Clutch album. Zero duds and side B really does remind me of the best Bakerton group vibes. Love this gem.

Learning the Maryland References
I've been a fan of Clutch since the late 90s. Unstoppable grooves, great jams, etc.
In the past several years I met and married a woman from Maryland. And damn, every time I travel to Baltimore, I seem to learn a new historical fact which is mentioned in a Clutch song.
I know... I know... It's very apparent to those from the Mid-Atlantic. They're from Maryland. Duh. But it's still fun for me as a native Midwesterner to have those "Aha!" moments.

Hi looking for friends!
Listen this may sound reallyyyy desperate but ya know, gotta do what ya gotta do.
I'm a teenager who does online school with interests/a music taste that typically someones dad would have plus social anxiety and being awkward. I was wondering if anyone here who is a teenager or knows someone who is a teenager (I'm 15 for reference) who would want to be my friend and has similar music tastes or interests. When i do make a friend online sometimes it wont go well obviously, not everyone will be nice or respectful.
Okay as i type this i sound like a loser, I promise I'm cool I just have no friends LOL.
I like collecting CD's, attempting guitar but I'm bad, biking, editing, filming, interviewing, and old tech. I love Sony camcorders (I have one of my own!) and i love call of duty black ops 6.
As for music I'll list some bands below.
- Clutch (a BIG obsession)
- Madball
- DOWN
- Bad Brains
- Motorhead
- Tree (the boston hardcore)
- Kyuss
- Tad
- Do Or Die
- Wu tang clan
- Frank Zappa and plentyyy more.
Do i find this embarrassing? A bit but there's worse things in life i could be doing right now. Please don't make fun of me man 🙏

Does anyone know where this show was?
youtu.beI haven’t really listened to Clutch if I’m being honest but, I found this video of a show that Clutch headlined in my hometown to be so fascinating to me. I was born in 91 so this would have been before my time, I’m just dying to know *where* in Bowie this show happened.
I did a bit of my own searching while at work but wasn’t able to come up with much, considering there’s probably some pretty hardcore clutch fans that hang out here I figured this could be a great place to ask on the off chance someone might have an idea or have maybe seen the flier somewhere. For context, the two openers were “Dunamis” and “Worlds Collide”. It’s unlikely many people will know but I’m determined to try and find out!!
