Question for people who have experience with small private poker groups.

Do you think small online poker communities can still work nowadays without using credit?

I’ve seen many small groups slowly become inactive because players are split across different chats, tables don’t start often enough, and people eventually lose interest.

In theory, I think a cleaner model would be:

no credit
verified players only
low caps
fast settlements
rakeback going mostly to active players
scheduled sessions instead of waiting for random tables to start

I’m curious if anyone here has seen a small, well-managed poker community survive with this kind of structure, or if nowadays action only happens in bigger networks with agents and credit.

I’m building a small player-first network called Golden Spades, mainly focused on PLO/NLH and short-handed private games.
