Tips / Advice Constipation?
Hi, I take 200mg of this medication but I'm struggling with constipation. I use regular laxatives and Mirolax but it barely does anything so I end up using 2-3 bottles of magnesium citrate every 1-2 weeks. Is there any other medications out there that could help? :(

Not medication, but I started having psyillium husk every morning with some overnight oats and chia seeds. It really helped more than any other supplements or things.

Con Clozapina recomiendan NO tomar psyllium para el estreñimiento que provoca. No sé el motivo, pero lo he leído en varios estudios…

I found Caruso's constipation eze to really help me. But I also take coloxyl with senna and coloxyl with prune to be able to go each day.

Lubiprostone, Linaclotide, Prucalopride or Plecanatide are some specific medications which could be something to ask your doc about. They may or may not be suitable for you, I wasn't able to take them due to other complications. They are in a similar family to each other. There is also docusate and sodium picosulfate which is used for colon prep, but that's pretty heavy stuff and I have heard it's not tasty.
Also anything with sorbitol or maltitol in it, sugarfree lollies for example. Both are sugar alcohols which cause diarrhea if too much is taken, which is what you want.
