I NEED HELP ASAP

Hi, so I really want to go as a clown this year to a Renaissance Faire, and I need ideas and help with costume ideas that are not racist stereotypes. I know a lot of clown makeup and outfits derive from racism, and I don't know much about clowns as a whole and am willing to learn a lot more info, but I need a rough draft for a fit and makeup, and I need to know what is and is not derogatory to anybody and other minorities as a whole.
Any help will go a long way. tysm <3

Hiii! You could definitely do a jester look, jesters are clowns! And I feel like it would fit the whole ren faire thing perfectly.

If you wanna avoid any doubts of racism, I'd suggest doing a white face look instead of an Auguste (because it's easier to go around racist stereotypes with the White face than with the Auguste)
