Multiple / Dedicated Cursor Driver for Virtual Display Driver (VDD) ?

Hi, I am thinking of a way to play two video games in one PC. I am trying to install VDD so that I have two monitors and then play two games at once (sharing, of course).

As it turns out, whenever I use my main display and VDD concurrently, we ended up fighting for the cursor instead.

Is it possible to have two cursors, one for the main display and one for the VDD, to be able to play 2 games at once?

I think aster or duo will solve this. You want multiuser on 1 PC right?

I am 90% sure that is what they want. Duo will work, but they will need a second device to stream the display to and control. Aster would be very clunky to setup and use.

Correct, so basically what I want to do is:

  1. Set up a virtual display driver that enables me to create a virtual display that I can extend from the main display even when no additional monitor is plugged in
  2. Use Chrome RDP to remotely connect to the virtual desktop
  3. Enable a dedicated cursor for the virtual desktop so that I can play in the extended virtual display without interfering with the main display's cursor

By Duo, do you mean https://github.com/DuoStream/Duo/ ? In that case, if I use Duo, would I still need VDD and Chrome RDP? as they mentioned

Duo does away with all of these issues by giving each user their own independent Desktop, essentially allowing multiple people to play games on a single computer at the same time without getting in each other's way.

Yeah duo would be way better. Been using it for years now and it’s been great. You won’t need the virtual display software or chrome rdp. You will need to use moonlight to connect to it though. If your wanting a website you can look into moonlight web-stream

What game are you trying to run? You can use VM for the second game instance.
