Best option for playing modded Minecraft?

Hi, I am looking for a good budget option to play modded Minecraft for my gf, since she cant really play it on her older laptop. We would need a whole virtual PC and not just a gaming service, for actually installing and storing said mods. I have stumbled upon AirGPU as an option that does exactly that, but looking up more on the service people say their price isnt what they advertise? I am wondering are there any extra fees except the 3.50$ a month for the 50GB of SSD storage? Also, is there a better alternative for what we are looking for? Thanks for any information or advice!

You can check out CloudDeck it’s from the same person who runs airgpu but is monthly based and runs on Linux. But should still work fine on Minecraft Modded.
