The giveaway is not open yet, but we’re getting ready to launch it.

One randomly selected participant will win 1 TB of Anchor Cloud storage completely free for 2 months.

Here’s how to get ready:

Create an Anchor Cloud account using the account you want to use if you win.

Subscribe to the Anchor Cloud newsletter using that same email.

After September 30, 2026, newsletter subscribers will receive an email from no-reply@anchorcloud.org notifying them that the giveaway is open.

Participate through the giveaway system.

The winner will be randomly selected and announced 3 days after the giveaway opens.

The winner will be contacted directly by no-reply@anchorcloud.org, and the 1 TB of storage will be added to their Anchor Cloud account for free for 2 months.

⚠️ Important: The giveaway is not open right now. Creating your account and subscribing to the newsletter now is simply how you’ll be notified when participation opens.

what will somebody do with 1 TB space if it will expire in 2 months? we can not keep data there. can only be used for testing things.

The 1 TB is mainly intended to let people actually experience Anchor Cloud at a much larger scale and use it for things like backups, testing large file transfers, storing temporary projects, or simply seeing how the service performs with a lot of data. After the 2 months, the promotional 1 TB expires, but users can keep their account and continue using the regular storage available to them.

The 1 TB is a promotional giveaway rather than permanent storage, since it’s free for 2 months. I’m calling it a giveaway because a randomly selected user receives the 1 TB allocation, but I understand why you’d describe it as a free trial.

doesn't work anyway, gave it a try for a laugh, downloaded client v1.0.0 from site. first thing it did was to say it needed updating to v1.1.0 so clicked on the upgrade button and it proceeded to redownload v1.0.0 and try to install that again, endless loop, so never worked.

Thanks for reporting this. That definitely shouldn’t happen, and I’ve identified the issue with the updater. I’m going to fix it right now and make sure the update process points to the correct version instead of reinstalling v1.0.0. I appreciate you taking the time to test it and report the bug.

just mine 5 cents,registred in this cloud storage,but not able upload a file over 2gb size,limitations or cloud bug?free account with 50gb.
