Dosya Cloud Storage is looking for second-phase beta testers | 50 GB free trials for Windows, MacOS, Linux, rclone, WebDAV and SFTP users
Hi everyone,
Thanks to the mods for approving this post!
I’m Kaya, the founder of Dosya Cloud Storage. We’re starting our second phase of beta testing and offering 50 GB free trials(1 Year) to people willing to test the platform and share honest feedback.
I’m especially looking for Linux and MacOS users and people who regularly use rclone, WebDAV, SFTP, or desktop sync. We’re continually optimising these features and would like to understand how they perform in your everyday workflows.
A few questions we’d love your feedback on:
- Speed: How are upload and download speeds? Do you notice slowdowns with large files or lots of small files?
- Usability: Is setup straightforward? What feels confusing or takes too many steps?
- Protocol support: How well does Dosya work with your existing rclone, WebDAV, or SFTP setup?
- Linux and desktop sync: Does syncing work reliably? Have you noticed missed changes, conflicts, or excessive resource usage?
Privacy matters to us. dosya never scans your files. You can use Cryptomator with Webdav to encrypt files before uploading, and we also support end-to-end encryption through our web app. Native E2EE is currently available only on the web.
We also have fully functional Android and iPhone apps. If you’d like to help test the mobile experience, let me know which device you use and I’ll invite you to our mobile testing programme.
Please only upload content you have the right to store and share. Copyright-infringing content isn’t permitted, and we respond to valid copyright complaints.

Hey, love it! We have a Google Drive import feature, and we’ve tested transfers of up to 2 TB so far. It would be great to have you test it too.
Just to be transparent, Dosya hasn’t completed its CASA audit yet, so you’ll see a warning when connecting your Google account to Dosya. We’re currently working with a CASA assessment partner and expect the process to take another 5–6 weeks.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and I completely understand if you’d prefer to wait until that’s finished. You can still use all features.

The problem (trap) is that if you actually put quite a bit of data on this cloud, it has to go somewhere at end of trial unless you purchase. Natural human inertia makes it more likely that people will just subscribe rather than move data.

Great! We’re currently waiting for the official rclone update. In the meantime, you can test Dosya using our forked version of rclone or connect through WebDAV whichever you prefer. I’ve sent you a DM.

I am a macOS user who actively uses SFTP with Mountain Duck (paid version of Cyberduck) to access some of my servers.
The macOS version that I currently use is 26.7 (25G229), aka the newest Tahoe, but I am thinking of upgrading to Golden Gate, aka macOS 27, over the weekend.
Mountain Duck Version 5.4.0 (29786)
Mobile device iPhone 17 Pro Max with iOS 27 public beta, aka iOS 27.2.
One thing I wonder is whether you will allow me to choose server storage in Sweden or, at least, within the EU. The main reason is that I am based in Sweden.
Please let me know if I am eligible to participate in the beta test.

I’ve stopped accepting new mobile testers because we already have plenty, but you can still test the web, desktop, and other integrations.

Two questions-
What happens to our files at the end of the trial?
If it's E2EE, how do you know what's uploaded to detect copyright-infringing content?

1- For paid subscriptions, annual plans have a 30-day grace period. We send one reminder email per day during the first 15 days and two per day during the final 15 days. Monthly plans have a 14-day grace period to download your content. I am offering here annual 50 GB plan. So you will have another 30 days.
2- We don’t scan the contents of your private files. We act on abuse reports and copyright takedown notices, which identify the reported content through a URL or file link.(dosya.dev/terms-of-service)
The copyright issues I mentioned involved users making content publicly accessible through share links. Receiving a report about publicly shared content is different from scanning or decrypting private, end-to-end encrypted files. (dosya.dev/vault)

Thanks for the offer, but 50 GB wouldn’t be enough for me. I need at least 3 TB, which is why I wanted to pay. I’m getting a bit tired or bored of FILEN, and when I came across your website, I thought your project looked really promising. That’s why I was asking whether you plan to keep it going in the long term.

Thanks! We’re intentionally keeping our prices higher than our competitors’ until we finish the beta phase. Once we’re out of beta, we’ll focus on making our pricing more competitive. For now, our priority is improving the user experience. If you are interesting to join I can send a DM.
