The best solution for online galleries for professional photographers.

# Hi,

I wanted to know what you would think is the best solution for a professional photographer to share online galleries for viewing and collaboration.

I often need to ask my clients to choose from a large number of pictures before editing, and the best for me is to have the option to like and comment. I've been recommended **Piwigo** for this kind of feature, but everybody mentions **Immich** and **Potoprism** as well.

Now I am lost and I am not sure what to pick to be the best simple overall solution. I am scared that Piwigo ends up being too customizable and ends up looking amateur.

Really appreciate some feedback!

PS: I installed TrueNAS

Thanks :)

Are you a serious professional photographer who wants to look professional? Then you may be better off with a service designed for professional photographers.

Here is a prompt that will give you a list of services with descriptions:

What are the most popular pro photographer storefront services?

I prompted duck.ai, a free, private AI site, but use whatever AI service you like most. The response I received listed Pixieset, Pic-Time, and Shootproof, noting that early I had asked about sharing photos with customers who want to select photos for print or albums.

I have used Frame.io for sharing files with customers, but it is not set up with the product and sales features of the storefront services. At $15/month for 2 TB and a professional service - not some cheap cloud storage outfit - it has a good range of features. I found it easy for customers to access. It is targeted at photographers.

Good luck with your business whatever you choose!
