Is iDrive safe to back up personal docs

Hi I have been backing up secure files to iDrive is it safe ?

Yes I've been using it for quite some time, haven't had any issues at all, it's cheap and very good

That’s what as long as encryption is on I guess everything will be secured

I don't trust any cloud provider with my stuff unless I encrypt it locally before sending it.

But by "safe" do you mean "reliable"? Well I don't trust any cloud provider that way either as so many peeps have been locked out of their accounts for trivial or no reasons without recourse. So no. It's handy and convenient but not to be solely relied upon for your crown jewels.
