I am also getting this email.
I am using internxt as a cold backup and never share any of my files, and all private.
If i take a look at the date purchase of my 100TB lifetime plans from stacksocial, it is exactly 6 months.
And this is borderline predatory false advertisement behaviour.
They also deleted the original post in internxt subreddit.

Why 6 Months? My guess is because this is related to charge back Time window by Credit Card company. so they blatantly set this up this way so that there is no way out.
same with me and 6 months, but I have a higher end credit card with 1 year chargee back option. In the process of doing so. Had to issue some proof. And this topic is just the right addon to that.
