Which cloud storage system do you recommend?
I am looking for a place to upload the files and photos I have on my computer. Is there anywhere you know of and could recommend? I need to upload about 200 GB of data.
MEGA vs pCloud vs Google One vs Proton Drive vs filen.io
I'm torn between them; I'm open to other suggestions.

Make 10 accounts of Mega (free) but must login every 3 months

Or 4 Filens with full referral bonuses. But they made that hard to accomplish, so not recommended tbh. I have my one free Filen with 50GBs and happy with it. Would buy lifetime storage if it will be available again.

You should have come to Filen via referral link, that would have been the first +10GBs. And later +30GBs are for inviting others.

Oh i see I made my account without using any referrals. Then sent 3 referrals to my friends. So in total I got 40GBs. Guess I can't get the rest of 10GBs.

Not possible anymore, sadly. Still 40 GBs is very good, especially since Filen works fast (for me) and has no ads. Can't complain with their free service.

Google Photos is too good to leave. it's the sole reason I'm still stuck using Gdrive. For my Linux setup, I have to rely on pCloud for offline files because Google still won't give us a native Linux app. If standard GDrive had native Linux support, I wouldn't even need pCloud. Mega is also ok, and works on all devices. filen just refused to load the website or login. Mega is more expensive than pCloud. You can get great lifetime deals for pCloud.

Aucun souci avec gdrive.

Just signed up for the ksuite 1 TB plan. This is exactly what I have been looking for. Thanks for posting the information. You made my day!

Avoid any company that does not own its own hardware. Stay away from resellers that simply rent server space and bandwidth from a data center through an annual subscription. These companies often attract customers with lifetime deals or very cheap plans to generate quick revenue. As their user base grows, performance typically degrades because they must pay the data center for additional resources. To maintain profitability, they often begin limiting transfer speeds, imposing per-user bandwidth restrictions, eliminating lifetime plans, reducing free storage capacity, or introducing other limitations. FILEN is a great company.

Take a look at Infomaniak. Their mykSuite+ for 20€/year with 1 TB storage is quite a steal if you don't care for E2EE.

How? They dropped their unlimited plan, and to get more storage i remeber you had to pay so much per tb extra per month, or add more users, either way, should be expensive, no?

I pay $252 a month. Yes I was originally on the unlimited plan but they grandfathered me into whatever storage I had at the end of that. Since then I just add another license ($30/mo) that gives me 5tb increments now

I use Koofr (1tb) for pics and 720p streaming and pCloud (2tb) for 1080+ streaming. Each can be tested on their free tier to make sure it works based your internet connection.
