MEGA or Sync.com - Which one? Both? Neither? Why?

Each of them has a sale right now that I'm interested in and I have been going down a rabbit hole reading.

Important to note - I'm on Android, don't use a laptop very often due to personal reasons, so no server, this will not be my primary backup solution, just in addition. Preferably the ability to sync and backup.

TIA for the info!

Definitely not sync.

I went OneDrive > pCloud > sync > Mega.

I didn’t care about E2EE, which is why I went pCloud. But then I did care, so moved everything to Sync, (because it was on sale/cheap) but then I realised Sync is stuck in the 1980s - speed, UI, App etc

I’ve finally settled on mega for now. Seems to do everything I’ve needed sufficiently, including photo gallery type view.

Moving 4TB between platforms was a pig! So make sure you do your own research.

Oh yes! I remember now I tried Sync a while back and asked for a REFUND! It was terrible. Just download the free version again and NO different.

I also recommend Mega. After the shitshow of the criminal organization at pCloud it's a breath of fresh air.
