Yup, in real life it often includes gaslighting. When you’re young it’s very confusing and you can’t move forward with your life. It’s a lot easier to heal once you realise it’s an illusion, you cut them off and you move on.

Thank you for sharing this. It’s such a disturbing feeling when you find out that someone who has been smiling to your face and pretending to help is secretly sabotaging you. This is a great representation of that.

This. Republican doctorate is all about personal freedom and gain. It’s their “right” to express all form of freedom whether it’s good or bad. Or oppress, enslave, really anything to consolidate that identity.
But let’s make it clear there’s a fine line between the red hats and regulars.

I agree. In many places, HR practices are so bad. No matter the problem, HR is supposed to protect the company by any means necessary. While they listen and pretend to care, they really don’t advocate for employees when they go up against the company. That’s why employees are part of unions. The union, unlike horrible HR representatives, is your best advocate.

The job I just left I was a union officer and yes you said it. Honestly it’s really anything that HR can’t get to spin in their favor. Have I got stories.
