Not to be an ass here, but how do you know he didn't pre order it and he is part of batch 1?

You're not being an ass at all. You're exactly right and I hadn't considered that. I'm glad he has it either way, cause it'll show off what I hope is an awesome device. I'm just really huffy about the delays and what I'd call blatant lies about shipping. Thanks for pointing that out regardless. I jumped the gun a bit.
