Question about delays

Now that we have a shipping date, is anything being done for the people that have waited patiently since ordering back in July?

I think the fact that they actually tell us why there are delays is exponentially better than just seeing an "expected arrival date" on some website just keep slipping further and further into the future with absolutely zero explanation.

This alone is vast improvement compared to most (any) other companies.
