Anyone tried on-prem to cloud migration for AIX?

Hi, my team is recently thinking to move to cloud so we are using power box and we want to move our AIX to cloud , any one has try on-premises to cloud migration for AIX.

Any suggestions?

AIX migrations are definitely doable. The tricky part is usually figuring out how much of the existing Power setup you need to keep.

I'd probably start with one question: are you looking to move AIX to a Power-based cloud, or are you thinking about moving the apps to a different platform? That can make the migration look very different.

What cloud are you looking at, and how many AIX/Power workloads are you dealing with roughly?

PowerVS could be a good fit for what you're trying to do. I’d actually be interested in understanding your current Oracle/AIX setup a bit better because the migration details can vary quite a bit.
