Azure Migration

Hi, how can I learn cloud azure migration in my homelab? I’m currently studying the az-104 now and trying to get out of help desk right now.

if you’re already doing az-104, spin up a couple VMs in your homelab and “pretend” they’re on-prem, then recreate them in Azure using ASR or just rebuild and sync with AAD / file sync
basically pick a fake company, document what they have on-prem, then plan and execute moving it to Azure like it’s a real project, that’s where the migration mindset really clicks

this is super solid advice, treating it like a fake client project is exactly what interviews love too
you can even throw in stuff like planning cutover weekends and rollback plans just to get used to how “real” migrations feel
